Die Werkserie RHIZOME besteht aus zusammengesetzten Papierschnitten, die mit Nadeln direkt an der Wand befestigt sind. Zunächst lege ich Formen auf dem Papier per Materialdruck an oder ich schütte die Farbe direkt auf das Papier. Die so bewusst hervorgerufenen Zufallsgebilde lenke ich, indem ich mit Stiften und Pinsel Strukturen hervorhebe oder wegnehme. Am Ende beschneide ich das Papier, so dass Papierschnitte unterschiedlichen Formates entstehen. Gleich organischer Prozesse erobern fraktale Strukturen wachsend den Raum. Der Fokus meiner Arbeit richtet sich dabei auf den Natur-­ und Landschaftsraum als Laboratorium für künstlerische Forschung, wobei es mir um die Beschaffenheit der Dinge, ihre Struktur und elementare Form geht. Mein künstlerisches Vorgehen ist der Versuch Organisationen und Zusammenhänge von Strukturen zu ergründen. Vorwiegend suche ich diese in den Entstehungsprozessen der Natur und des Natürlichen.

The RHIZOME series consists of assembled paper cuts that are attached directly to the wall with pins. First, I create shapes on the paper using material printing or I pour the paint directly onto the paper. I direct the random shapes thus deliberately created by highlighting or removing structures with pens and brushes. In the end, I trim the paper so that paper cuts of different formats are created. Like organic processes, fractal structures conquer the space in a growing way. The focus of my work is on the natural and landscape space as a laboratory for artistic research, whereby I am concerned with the nature of things, their structure and elementary form. My artistic approach is an attempt to fathom organisations and connections of structures. I mainly look for these in the processes of nature and the natural.
